One-sided console racks are most often used as the wall. They have high static strength, stability and load bearing capacity, which is an excellent solution for storing heavy, long products, such as pipes, sawn timber, and scrap metal.

Storage and handling of cargo is performed only on one, frontal, side of the rack. Console-sided shelving is widespread in the metal depot, hardware stores and warehouses.

 

Constrcution features

One-sided console racks have a simple design: vertical racks of the S-shaped profile are bolted to the base. The console is mounted on the rack at the desired height – perforation allows adjusting such height. To give a higher stability to the rack, the racks are connected by inclined beams. The console can be additionally equipped with rolling restraints, which is important when storing pipes.

The base of the rack is made of hot-rolled IPN profile. In order to make the cantilever single-sided racks as stable as possible, during their installation, the bases are fixed to the floor by means of anchor bolts. To give greater stability, the rack they can be further attached to the wall.

High corrosion resistance

Racks and consoles can be painted or galvanized, which allows ensuring high resistance of structure to corrosion.

Constrcuction features of console systems

Double-sided shelving racks are used for storing large quantities of long-sized products in a small storage area. Such a rack visually resembles two unilateral cantilever racks set back to back. The metal structure has high strength, stability and bearing capacity. That allow double-sided cantilever racks be widely demanded at metal bases, warehouses of lumber, pipes and other long-length production.

Double-sided cantilever racks are manufactured using a S-shaped profile for racks and cross-beams, as well as an IPN profile for bases. Consoles are mounted on racks by hooks. Perforation holes allow adjusting the height of the console and set it according to the dimensions of the stored products. At the edges of the console there can be installed special limiters that prevent products falling.
